The East Africa Agriculture Library builds on our general Agriculture Collection, offering localized agricultural resources for rural farmers, extension workers and graduate level agricultural professionals living and working in East Africa. This library primarily features training resources and interactive modules about conservation agriculture, including lessons, videos, audio and presentations from Foundations for Farming (FfF), a regional leader in conservation agriculture training. It also places a heavy emphasis on coffee farming & production and features crop & livestock information in local languages like Kinyarwanda.
First launched in Zimbabwe with FfF and in Rwanda with Bridge2Rwanda (B2R) Farms, this regional library also contains training videos from B2R Farms, as well as technical manuals and articles from the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board and the Rwandan Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources.
