Education Sector

The US Peace Corps office in Vanuatu was the first to invite the SolarSPELL team to include its Health Sector volunteers, which inspired our team to greatly increase the health and safety content on the SolarSPELL library.

It also led to the involvement ASU’s College of Nursing and Health Innovations with the SolarSPELL project, as well as in-field engagement by ASU Doctoral Nursing students. The team has had the opportunity to see firsthand how the SolarSPELL library is being used in both rural schools and health care clinics across Vanuatu, and to visit with some amazing and dedicated volunteers there. Vanuatu Peace Corps volunteers work in the Education and Health sectors.
